From Audi officially announced they would present a new RS5 in Geneva Auto Show. The engine that will have a compartment with a volume of 4163 cm3 V8. Power is 331 KW (450 HP). Company of Germany have provided four-wheel drive, known system developed by Quattro GambH. Power is transmitted to all four wheels with seven-speed S TRONIK transmission. The gearbox can operate fully automatically, also has an option to change gears from the steering wheel. Differential can alter the distribution of power between the front and rear axle, it can transmit up to 70% at the front axle, or by 85% to the rear axle. The 40:60 ratio of the standard rear-biased configuration ensures sporty handling. 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 265/35 tires are standard. They met in an exceptional 5-arm design structure. RS5 is available with optional 20-inch wheels and 275/30 tires. Winter wheels featuring the same dimensions are available, a 19-inch wheel is suitable for snow chains. The braking system uses powerful and internally ventilated discs, which measure 365 millimeters (14.37 inches) in diameter on the front axle. Carbon-ceramic brakes are an option. From Audi claim that this beast has a fuel consumption of just 10.8 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers (21.78 U.S. MPG), which is a really pleasant surprise. In tailgate spoiler automatically extends at speeds of 120 km / h (74 mph) and retracts at a speed of 80 km / h (50 mph). Sports seats with pronounced side sections and integrated head restraints are standard. They are electrically adjustable and feature a leather / Alcantara combination.
