BMW ActiveHybrid already and for 5 – series

Once submitted BMW ActiveHybrid X6 and the BMW ActiveHybrid 7, ActiveHybrid will power and 5 – series. The drive system featured in the BMW Concept 5 Series ActiveHybrid consists of a straight-six gasoline engine with TwinPower Turbo technology, eight-speed automatic transmission, and electric drive. For the hybrid version of BMW offer a well-known feature Start / Stop. The electric motor has an output of 40 kW, enough to operate independently in busy urban traffic, so the car may have zero emissions. Electric motor can support the need for petrol engine.
