Audi R8 GTFrom Audi announced that prepare a new version of top model R8. The series will be limited to 333 pieces, and each copy will have badge with its production number on the shift lever knob. Power the car has increased to 412 kW (560 hp), and the weight is decreased by approximately 100 kg. (220,46 lb). With these improvements top sports model for Audi, R8 5.2 FSI V10, accelerates from 0-100 km / h (0-60 MPH) for 3.6 sec., 0 to 200 km / h (125 mph) in 10.8 seconds, maximum speed is 320 km / h (200mph). Drivetrain for R8 is legendary system for Audi’s Quattro, which carries power and the four wheels. Audi offer R tronic transmission for an additional fee. One highlight of the R8 GT are the standard LED headlights, which use light-emitting diodes for all functions. They produce bright, homogeneous light, have a long service life and low energy consumption. The headlights also have an attractive and distinctive appearance. The daytime running lights each comprise 24 LEDs and appear as a continuous band. The reflectors are reminiscent of open mussel shells. The modifications to the rear of the car are particularly apparent, beginning with the fixed wing of matte carbon. The ventilation louvers on both sides of the rear hatch and the CFRP bumper, which integrates the large, round tailpipes and vents for the wheel wells, have been redesigned. The larger diffuser is made of carbon fiber composite; the license plate bezel and the wide slats at the rear are in matte titanium gray. The tail lights, which also use LED technology, have dark housings with panes of clear glass. The defining element of the side view are the sideblades, which direct air to the engine and in the R8 GT are also made of matte carbon. The same material is used for the reduced-size housing of the side mirrors, which are mounted on an aluminum base. The 19-inch wheels feature an exclusive five twin-spoke Y design in a titanium-look finish. The front fenders sport “GT” badges. Audi offers the R8 GT in a choice of four body colors: Samoa Orange metallic, Suzuka Gray metallic, Ice Silver metallic and Phantom Black pearl effect. To improve engine power, German engineers have upgrade electronics and exhaust system. 5.2 Liter V10 engine is pretty close to the engine from the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560, and Italian super car already have a version with 570 horsepower and is soon expected in the Audi R8 (to recall that Lamborghini is owned by VW, Audi too). According to the German company average fuel consumption is 13.7 liters of fuel per 100 km (17.17 US mpg). The price of the model in Germany is expected around 193,000 euros ($ 255,500), yet no price for USA.
