2010_911_TurboFrom Porsche stake to tradition, the first 911 was manufactured in 1963 with a power range from 110 to 300 horsepower. In the 911 remained the main lines of the brand. Both cars are six cylinder turbocharged engine. By Nissan are installed a standard V-engine with power of 485 hp. From Porsche chose for his model 3.8 boxer-engine with 500 horsepower, espeNissan_GT-Rcially in such engines is the location of the pistons, which are located opposite each other. The location of the engines in both cars is also different. From Nissan put the engine in front of the car, while Porsche engineer install the engine in the “cargo”. The situation of the engine in two cars felt pretty in extreme driving. Turbo 911 behave like a sports car with rear wheel drive and in turn with more throPorsche 911 Turbottle can be easily lost control of the car. In Nissan felt mild understeer problems. Both cars have a four wheel drive system. In acceleration from standstill to 60 mph (0-100 km / h) 911 Turbo is presented much better, thanks to their low weight, good torque and PDK gearbox (which works pretty well). In acceleration from 0-125 mph / (0-200 km / h), Porsche is faster by over 2.5 seconds. For maximum speed both cars are equPorsche 911 Turboal. The braking system in 911 works much better than that of Nissan. The weight of the GT-R was significantly greater with 200 kg. Which is a huge difference for two cars with so identical parameters. Fuel consumption in Porsche is lower than competitors, due mostly to the difference in weight. In terms of ride comfort of both cars are not among the best, but still has a little more comfort at 911. With regard to the proposed space our undisputed winner is Nissan, which has a real cargo and place inside a car is a lot more. In terms of design winner is Nissan GT-R. Ever since the first look Nissan GT-R is expected to be an exclusive sports car with a very low price for its class, and expectations are Nissan_2010_GT-Rjustified, GT-R is the cheapest car with such power.

Our advice: Winner on points is the Porsche 911 Turbo. However, we would choose Nissan GT-R mostly because of very low price. If you want to drive on race track and you are dont care about the money Porsche 911 Turbo is your right choice.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

so now i guess we supposedly have definative proof that the newer 911 turbo IS faster than the gtr?…the 911 turbo s does 0-60 in 2.6 secs,…they call that one the “baby veyron’,…porsche has won this round,…albiet for a lot more money,…they are now down to selling 46 gtr’s a month now,..versus 500 911′s,…so i think the buying public agrees with your statistics here,…when you spend that kind of money,…well,…guess what?,…you really do want a porsche after all!
