From Mercedes officially presented by the new AMG 5.5-liter biturbo engine for CL model. Engine combines performance, innovation and efficiency. Mercedes – AMG is a subsidiary of Germany’s luxury car company Mercedes, specialized in
manufacturing sports models of the brand. The new 5.5 V8 biturbo engine has a capacity of 5461 cc, which is significantly less than previous 6.3 engine.
The maximum power of the new CL63 AMG 2011 was increased to 536 hp and maximum torque of 590 lb-ft. with the AMG Performance Package these figures increase to 563 hp and 664 lb-ft. Although power had increased by more than 40 horsepower in
2010 models, fuel consumption is reduced by about 25%, CO2 emissions are also reduced by about 30 grams per 100 kilometers. Classical distance 0-60 mph (0-100 km / h) 2011 CL63 AMG takes for just 4.4 seconds., maximum speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. With the AMG Performance package, the highperformance coup reaches the 60 mph mark in 4.3 seconds, and the maximum speed was increased to 186 mph (electronically limited).
