From Germany tuning company G-POWER presented the most powerful SUV ever made. BMW X6 TYPHOON RS will be extremely limited edition of only 5 pcs. For a base model is used BMW X6 M (E71), which is equipped with a 5.0 L V10 engine with 555 horsepower. To be able to claim the title “world’s fastest SUV”, in TYPHOON RS are used most advanced technology taken from Formula 1. Engineers from G-POWER forged, 7-bearing crank shaft is also a custom-made part which boosts the cubic capacity by 10% from 5.0 up to 5.5 litres, turbo system is also changed to that of G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR (world -record vehicle). With an optimized data map for the engine electronics X6 TYPHOON RS has a power output of 900 HP / 662 kW at 8.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 870 Nm at 6.800 rpm. Top speed is over 330 km / h. The standard automatic gearbox of the BMW X6 M and four wheel drive system are replaced with six-speed gearbox built by G-POWER, and drive only the rear wheels. With so many horsepower, engineers from G-POWER have determined that no one will try this off the road. Sacrificing the four-wheel drive system xDrive, the use of a titanium exhaust system, the four ultra-light carbon individual seats in the vehicle interior complete the weight reduction programme. Overall is the car ca. 150 kg lighter than the standard version.

“The intention behind the G-POWER X6 TYPHOON RS ultimate V10 is, besides the aim of building the world’s fastest SUV, to create a vehicle to do homage to M GmbH’s fascinating V10 power unit”, according to G-POWER’s Managing Directors Christian Stöber and Zoran Zorneke talking about the ultimate X6 M’s technical specification.

Acceleration of the huge SUV is amazing. Classical distance 0-100 km / h (0-60mph) X6 TYPHOON RS takes only for 4.2 seconds. In less than 13 seconds the speed is over 200 km / h (125 mph). Top speed is over 330 km / h. For compare the standard X6 M accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, 0-200 – 16.4 sec., Maximum speed is 253 km / h. The performance of the huge SUV can compete with the top model of Audi, R8 V10, which accelerates from 0 to 200 km / h for 12.6 seconds and top speed is 316 km / h.

The G-POWER X6 TYPHOON RS ultimate V10 can be ordered as a completely finished vehicle from the G-POWER manufactory in Autenzell. The edition is limited to five vehicles worldwide.
