Hamilton won categorically the Belgium grand prix; the Britain launched a second position at the start but still managed to overtake Webber and do not miss leadership until the end of the race. Spa race was one of the most dramatic of the season because of variable weather.

o Liuzzi burst him rear tire. Over the last 10 minutes on the track again raining, this time the rain was strong enough to force drivers to put Intermediate. F. Alonso spun on the wet runway and hit the protection wall, this incident caused safety car again. In the last laps in the race leaders not risked and the victory went to Hamilton, Webber remained second, third Kubica, 4 – Massa, 5 – Adrian Sutil, 6 – Nico Rosberg, 7 – Michael Schumacher, 8 – Kamui Kobayashi, 9 – Vitaly Petrov, 10 – Jaime Alguersuari.
