Vettel won the qualification for the Grand Prix of Japan. German driver managed to overtake his teammate and won 8 pole position for Red Bull team this year. Second left his teammate M. Webber. Third in qualification left the McLaren driver, L. Hamilton, who was punished with 5 positions for changing gearbox and will start eighth on starting grid. The third position was left for Polish driver R. Kubica, fourth ranked Alonso fifth Button, sixth Rosberg, Barrichello seventh, the top 10 supplement Hulkenberg and Schumacher. Minion of the Japanese audience Kamui Kobayashi took the 14th position. Qualification took place on Sunday morning, 5 hours before the race at Suzuka circuit.
