Shortly it became clear that certainly in 2014 or at latest in 2015 Russia will host a F1 Grand Prix, the only Russian in the most high-tech sport has become quite desirable. After a not so good 2010 season in which Petrov present much worse than his team-mate Kubica, many argued that his career in F1 will end yet in his debut season. But bosses of the new Lotus Renault GP team signed a new two-year contract with the young Russian. Team boss Eric Bulin said that he expects Petrov to justify the confidence that he has voted on the team. Petrov said that are very very happy that continues working together with the team and Polish star Kubica.
