Saab will present officially all new model 9-5 SporCombi at Geneva Motor Show. Orders books will open soon after the official premiere. The first copies of the new model are expected to arrive to their new owners in September 2011.
“The launch of the 9-5 SportCombi is a much-awaited next step in the rollout of our new product offensive,” said Saab CEO Jan Ake Jonsson. “It will take Saab back into the large wagon segment where we have established a strong presence in many key markets with our previous offering.”
This year Saab will begin sales of another new model 9-4X crossover. For 2012 is expected redesigned version of the 9-3, which will receive an engine from BMW. For 2010 the Swedish brand is sold worldwide just 31,696 (5,450 in U.S.), ambitions are to 2012 sales to reach 120,000 units.
