Maserati prepare all new four door model that should be ready next year. Model will be slightly smaller than the current Quattroporte, and thus will have to compete with the BMW M5, Mercedes E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR. This will be the fourth model in the Italian company’s product line. For the base, most likely will be used the successor of Alfa Romeo 166. The engines offered in the new model will be V8 and V6, as yet no information about the output power that would offer. The gearbox will be eight-speed ZF. The design of the car is made in the Fiat Centro Stile, under the leadership of chief designer of Fiat, Lorenzo Ramazzotti, who previously worked for Pininfarina.

As yet still no official information about the price of the model, but according to unconfirmed sources in the European market, model will be available for no more than 55 000 euro’s.
