Pagani officially unveiled its new super car Huayra. Model will replace the current C9 and according the company production took seven years of development. Engine in the new super car is a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 taken from Mercedes AMG, the same engine is mounted in the SL65 Black Series. Huayra accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds. Standard engine is available with an output of power of 700 hp, but will be available and optional AMG Performance Package that will reach about 730 hp. The engine is mounted behind the seats and driving the rear wheels. The transmission is seven-speed gearbox with paddle shifters. The body is constructed primarily of carbon fiber, and is able to meet strong US safety standards. The most important difference in the new super car is gullwing doors. Like all previous Pagani models, the new Huayra will be produced in limited series, but is not yet announced the exact number. The price of the model is expected to be approximately $ 1.5 million.
