VW plans to develop all new SUV model. Future model will be mainly intended for USA market, but probably will be available in rest of the world. The new SUV model will be manufactured at the plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where currently is produce the new North American Passat. The new SUV model to be slightly cheaper than the current model of the Touareg, but also will offer 7 seats and will luxury futures from big brother. The main objective of one more luxury SUV is to promote the brand at the U.S. market. For 2010 VW has sold 256,830 vehicles in USA, the plans are by 2018 German company to sell more than 800,000 cars. Probably for the base of new SUV will be used Porsche Cajun.
