Tuning specialist from Brabus officially present first tuned car passed stringent Euro 6 standard, that won’t go into effect until 2014 for all European countries. The package is designed for Eco Series Mercedes-Benz, equipped with 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine. Tuning of the engine offers an additional 55 hp (54 bhp) / 40.5 kW of power and a peak torque of 690 Nm (509 lb-ft). Tuning package include a plug-and-play device integrated into the CAN data bus. BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S can be installed in all models of Mercedes powered by V6 diesel engine (all four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, for the new CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model, and for top luxury sedan S350). The device can be installed in both drivetrain versions, with rear-wheel drive and in 4MATIC (AWD – all wheel drive) modifications.

So far from Brabus announce acceleration data only for model S350 equipped with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S kit. The vehicle acceleration from rest to 100 km / h (62 mph) in just 6.5 seconds, half a second faster than the production car. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h (155 mph).

Like all BRABUS components the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit is backed by the BRABUS Tuning Warranty ® of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers / 62,000 miles.
