FIA officially cancel Grand Prix of Bahrain. First start of the season on the Sahir track will not take place because of the complicated political situation in the country. On March 13 had to be held the first race of 2011 season in F1, and last preseason tests a week earlier. The decision was taken personally by Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, who inform by phone Bernie Ecclestone that currently there are more pressing problems and recommended round of Formula 1 can be cancel.
The first race of the season in Formula 1 will be held on 27 March in Australia. As yet it is unclear whether the Grand Prix of Bahrain will be held on another date.
