Japanese carmaker Toyota signed an agreement with French company EDF to build infrastructure in Paris to promote electric and plug in hybrids. Together the two companies will build a network of 150 to 200 charging sites in public parking spots and park houses. Initially will begin in Parish, the main idea is to reduce CO2 emissions in urban city traffic.
From Toyota hope is the construction of new infrastructure to increase sales of Plug in hybrids of the mark, and especially the model Prius. Only electric power the model can travel about 20 km, maximum speed to 100 km / h (62 mph).
