Production of the all-new Audi Q3 already begun. Model is assembled in the SEAT factory in Martorell, located in Spain’s Catalonia region. The plans of the German company are from production lines to go on about 100,000 units each year. Spanish SEAT factory is one of the biggest plants in VW Group. Currently there are about 10,000 employees. VW invested there 330 million euro’s for new equipment and modernization of infrastructure. This is the first Audi model to be produced in a SEAT factory.
Audi Q3 is produced on the platform of VW Tiguan. Initial models will be available with three four-cylinder powerplants: one TDI unit and two TFSI engines. Developing between 103 kW (140 hp) and 155 kW (211 hp).
The price of the smallest SUV model Audi starts from € 29,900 in Germany.
