Mercedes prepare 911 rival

Mercedes prepare a serious competitor to the Porsche 911. The most likely model will be called SLC and will be inspired by SLS AMG. To reduce the cost of model Mercedes engineers will surely develop a model with normal doors. Expected SLC base model is rated around 350 hp, with price is not more than 100 000 euro’s. Allegedly future competitor of the 911 will have and a super sports AMG modification with a power similar to that which now exist in SLS. Currently Mercedes not decided whether the new model will be positioned under the SLS AMG or directly to replace it in model range.
