According to unofficial information Mercedes intensified work on a new four-seat SUV model. Most likely it is a car built on the new M-Class base with more sports features. The most likely future vehicle will be called GLS. From Mercedes plans to introduced its new model in 2014. For now, engine line-up is quite scarce. The most likely future GLS will use the same engines that are currently available for the new ML, exception of 2.1 L diesel engine of the ML250 BlueTEC. As we already informed you, and Audi plans Q6 rival to BMW X6, which should be ready in 2016.
