BMW X6 xDrive50d (triple turbo diesel)

BMW is developing a diesel engine with triple turbocharger system. Modification will be installed in the new X6 at modification xDrive50d. Capacity of the engine is 3.0 liters, 6 cylinders and delivers 400 hp. The same engine will be installed and in the new BMW 7 series. 3 turbo system will be used and in 6-cylinder gasoline engines. 6-cylinder BMW M3 with three turbochargers will produce 450 horsepower. X3 M will also receive 3 turbochargers, but the maximum power will be only 350 hp.
