During Frankfurt Auto Show, Lexus officially introduced the fourth generation GS 450h. High tech hybrid is not hardly differs from the standard GS, as different impression headlights, blue badges and 17-inch wheels. The interior trim differences include bamboo and the mandatory display of the hybrid system.
According to manufactures model has achieved 30% more fuel efficient than its predecessor thanks to the upgraded 3.5-liter V6 engine, using second generation Atkinson-cycle. 2013 model uses a new upgraded Lexus Hybrid Drive system. Despite a substantial reduction in fuel consumption, the Japanese ensure exhilarating performance. Thanks of the total power of 338 hp, the GS 450h will accelerate effortlessly from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 5.6 seconds.
“The all-new GS 450h will provide our customers with an exciting blend of performance and precision in a new hybrid package,” said Mark Templin, Lexus group vice president and general manager in the US “With its dynamic exterior styling, roomy interior and advanced technology features, the GS 450h further demonstrates Lexus’ mastery of the luxury hybrid.”
