During the Frankfurt Auto Show, Fisker present a conceptual model built on Karma base. Model is called Surf and is a combination of sports / electric vehicle with four doors looks like wagon. According to Henrik Fisker serial car will be ready by the end of 2013, when the first owners will receive their vehicles.
Under the hood Surf is equipped with two electric motors with a total output power of 403 hp. Only on electric drivetrain, the car can travel 50 miles (80 km.). Then start a 2.0 petrol engine that can extend range up to 300 miles (483 km).
“The Surf is a first-of-its-kind eco-friendly lifestyle vehicle that offers space, performance and luxury design for people who live an active, environmentally conscious lifestyle and like to drive beautiful cars,” Henrik Fisker, CEO / Executive Design Director, Fisker Automotive.
