Production ready SsangYong SUT-1 debut in Frankfurt

Korean manufacturer SsangYong officially presented production version SUT-1. Model was presented as a concept at 2011 Geneva Motor Show. SsangYong defined their model like: Sports Utility Truck, hence the model name of SUT-1. Car will be available only in version with 2.0L diesel engine with 153-horsepower and 360Nm of torque in the range of 1,500 to 2,800 rpm. SUT-1 pickup is designed primarily for the European market, where the company hopes to attract customers with small businesses or workgroups. SUT-1 has a double cabin with 5 seats and plenty room for luggage. The vehicle could be ordered with a 6 speed manual or 6 – speed automatic transmission. As an option, the Korean company offers Part-time 4WD (standard car comes with a system of rear-wheel drive).

As yet it is not known when exactly will begin selling’s the new model. The price is also not announced.
